Overview

THE ROLE:
The Analyst, Sustainability will report to the Sustainability Strategy team within Worldwide Operations. In this role, the Analyst will support the maintenance of Herbalife's global, centralized ESG database, assisting with the collection, calculation, and aggregation of sustainability-related data. This includes coordinating with internal cross-functional and regional teams, helping generate performance reports, and supporting data quality and process improvement efforts. The Analyst will also help support alignment with global ESG standards and assist in meeting requirements related to regulations, disclosures, internal controls and third-party assurance.


HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
•    Support data quality, integrity and auditability efforts, helping identify and escalate issues as needed.
•    Assist in the collection, calculation and aggregation of ESG data in line with review, assurance and reporting timelines.
•    Help maintain ESG databases, including basic user support, data entry, and identification of database improvement opportunities.
•    Track, monitor, analyze and report sustainability data and trends to internal stakeholders.
•    Support the preparation of third-party assurance materials, including compiling datasets, supporting evidence, and process documentation.
•    Maintain sourcing and tracking documentation to ensure reporting accuracy; review and analyze data as directed.
•    Ensure compliance with established ESG data collection and reporting processes and procedures.
•    Perform other duties supporting the company's Sustainability strategies and global ESG compliance, as assigned.


WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:
Herbalife's Sustainability organization is a team of individuals that bring expertise and experience from ESG, International Compliance, GHG accounting and Finance. The team is responsible for the development of sustainability strategies and the implementation of initiatives, working cross-functionally and across regions, as well as with external groups. The team ensures that strategy, internal policies, initiatives, and goals under the program align with relevant global regulations and the company's overall strategy and operational objectives.
 

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Skills:
•    Effectively communicate ideas in written and verbal communication
•    Ability to demonstrate an organized thought process when communicating
•    Effectively able to draw conclusions and solve challenging problems
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Ability to take initiative to create change and look at new ways of doing things
•    Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas), and including Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and Tableau
•    SQL & Data Query language experience (highly desirable)
•    Data validation and reconciliation
•    Trend analysis, KPI development and reporting
•    Ability to Identify: Data Gaps, Anomalies, Outliers, reporting Inconsistencies & Trends/insights. 
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Good listening skills, one-on-one and in groups
•    Ability to multi-task and prioritize to achieve timely and desired results
•    Experience with ESG reporting concepts, GHG accounting standards and sustainability data frameworks
Experience:
•    2-5 years of work experience in ESG/Sustainability, financial accounting, information technology, data management, economics, business, or a related field
•    Project management experience is a plus
Education:
•    Bachelor's degree or university degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Finance, Data/Information Management, or related), or equivalent work experience
