Overview

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Principal, Product Design to lead end-to-end product design across Herbalife’s core
digital platforms used by millions of distributors and customers globally. This is a senior individual
contributor role responsible for shaping the experience vision, raising the bar for UX and UI quality, and
partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering to deliver intuitive, scalable, high-quality
digital experiences.
This role will play a key part in strengthening Herbalife’s internal product design capability and
establishing a higher standard of design craft, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. The
ideal candidate brings deep expertise in product design, interaction design, and design systems, along
with fluency in modern AI-enabled workflows. They know how to use AI to accelerate ideation and
prototyping, apply strong judgment when AI-generated output is not production-ready, and operate
effectively in evolving design-to-code workflows that increasingly blur the boundary between design and
engineering.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Own end-to-end UX and UI design for a core digital platform, from concept through launch and
iteration
• Turn complex business goals, user needs, and technical constraints into intuitive, scalable product
experiences
• Design key user journeys, workflows, dashboards, and onboarding experiences across web and
mobile surfaces
• Partner closely with Product Management to shape problem definitions, requirements, priorities, and
experience direction
• Collaborate with Engineering to drive high-quality execution and make smart tradeoff decisions
throughout delivery
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to improve consistency, quality, and speed across
products
• Provide design leadership through critique, guidance, and mentorship, helping raise the bar for craft
and product thinking across the team
• Validate solutions through research, usability testing, data, and iteration to improve experience
quality and business outcomes
• Use AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation, concept exploration, prototyping, and the creation
of live code prototypes, while applying strong judgment to assess quality, usability, feasibility, and
production readiness
• Push design-to-code collaboration forward through strong handoff practices, responsive design
discipline, and fluency with modern workflows such as Dev Mode and emerging AI-assisted
development patterns

TEAM DYNAMICS:
You’ll join a product-led digital organization focused on building real-world tools that empower
independent entrepreneurs globally. The team values clarity, collaboration, speed, and measurable
impact over design theater. This role offers the opportunity to help shape a modern internal design
function that pairs strong product thinking and craft with practical, AI-enhanced ways of working.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• None (senior individual contributor role)

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:
• 7-10 years of experience in product design
• Strong end-to-end UX and UI expertise
• Experience designing complex, data-rich applications
• Consistent track record to independently own large product surfaces
• Experience working with and extending design systems
• Tight-knit collaboration and communication skills
• Strong experience designing mobile-first digital products across mobile and desktop
• Working knowledge of AI tools for design and creative tasks, such as Figma AI features (including
First Draft and Make), v0, Lovable, Midjourney, or similar tools that support ideation, prototyping,
content generation, and creative exploration
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to accelerate ideation and prototyping while maintaining strong
standards for user experience, brand alignment, and quality
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
