THE ROLE:
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Provide technical expertise, proactive guidance, reporting (e.g. form 5500, ACA), and communications to ensure ongoing compliance with local laws and regulations for health and welfare, 401(k), and leaves programs
• Serve as escalation point for complex benefit issues, liaising with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to resolve complex eligibility or claims issues.
• Administer all benefit programs with cost-conscious sensitivity while educating users to maximize program understanding and utilization
• Support annual Open Enrollment activities across US locations
• Maintain accurate benefit records and conduct regular enrollment and invoice audits
• Update benefit policies as needed to reflect regulatory changes, market trends and business requirements
• Collaborate closely with Market HR Business Partners to resolve benefit-related challenges
• Partner with HR systems teams to ensure data accuracy and reliable reporting capabilities
• Support additional projects and duties as business needs require, such as Global Benefits Administration
• Perform complex data analysis related to benefit usage, cost, and effectiveness.
• Monitor and reconcile claims, administrative expenses, rebates etc. for self-insured healthcare benefits.

As a part of the overarching Total Rewards team, the Global Benefits Team specializes in designing and supporting employee’s total wellbeing programs. We deliver culturally appropriate benefits choices through a holistic framework that integrates market best practices and legal requirements, ensuring coverage throughout employees' working years and beyond.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. May substitute degree for equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ Years of experience in Benefits administration
• Professional Certifications in HR and/or Benefits preferred but not essential
• Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to identify solutions, evaluate alternatives, and recommend optimal approaches based on projected outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information, strong ethics, and integrity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and reporting requirements to include COBRA, HIPPA, ACA, ERISA governing benefit plans.
• Proficient in absence management laws including Worker’s Compensation (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, FEHA) and 401(k) administration experience
• Skilled in synthesizing complex benefits financial data and delivering actionable analysis
• Advanced HRIS and benefit administration system proficiency with strong data management and reporting capabilities
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing demands effectively
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated integrity with ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Adaptable and flexible approach to evolving business requirements
• Effective team collaboration with proven project leadership capabilities
• Strong independent work ethic with autonomous approach
