THE ROLE:
As a Sr. Analyst, Demand Planning, you will play a pivotal role in driving our forecasting activities and optimizing the supply chain. This dynamic position demands a strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills to lead critical forecasting and supply initiatives. As an essential part of Herbalife’s North America Supply Chain Team, the Sr. Analyst will spearhead all forecasting activities for finished goods, working closely with corporate departments and regional offices to develop and refine forecasts that align with Herbalife’s goals and objectives. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will play a crucial role in major forecasting and supply projects, driving improvements in forecasting processes and optimizing the overall supply chain.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Advanced Forecasting Reports: Prepare and develop advanced forecasting reports, presentations, and performance metrics to support decision-making processes.
• Lead Key Projects: Drive essential NAM supply chain projects such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and NAM New Product forecasting projects.
• Innovate Forecasting Initiatives: Lead NAM forecasting initiatives, such as the implementation of tools like Machine Learning and AI forecasting tools.
• Provide Training and Support: Train and support analysts within the department to enhance their forecasting capabilities.
• Oversee Finished Goods Forecasting: Manage the finished goods forecast at both SKU and aggregate levels, ensuring the forecasting system is accurately adjusted for all marketing activities in NAM. Over 10,000 SKU+Location Records
• Identify Trends and Seasonality: Analyze trends and seasonality by product category and sales market to improve forecast accuracy.
• Facilitate Forecast Collaboration: Lead the forecast collaboration process with regional teams and various departments to ensure cohesive forecasting efforts.
• Apply Advanced Algorithms: Utilize advanced algorithms for analysis and forecasting and stay updated on current technologies.
• Manage Cross-Functional Relationships: Oversee relationships with supply planning, project management, finance, sales, marketing, licensing, and change management teams to ensure timely completion of product lifecycle activities, including phase-ins, phase-outs, new product introductions, and discontinuations.
• Identify and Address Forecasting Issues: Detect potential forecasting and inventory issues early and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks. As well as ensure KPIs are met.
• Stay Informed on Market Trends: Maintain regular contact with regional/country management, global marketing, local marketing, and supply planners to stay updated on market trends and supply issues that may impact forecasts.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, supply chain management, or sales analysis
• Comprehensive understanding of various elements of Supply Chain Management
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and organize workload effectively, while excelling as a team member
• Demand Management system and forecasting models such as Demantra, JDA, Vanguard or Logility
• Sales and Operation Planning and New Product Forecasting
• Adaptable to changing environments with exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Python, PowerPoint, Demantra, and Agile
• Experience with the use of one or more forecasting software packages
• 5+ years of forecasting, supply chain or work as a sales analyst
• Master’s degree, APICS certification
