Overview

THE ROLE: 
As a key member of the Global HR Business Partner team, the Manager, HR Business Partner will collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and HR colleagues to implement and embed HR strategies aligned with corporate and functional goals. This role will focus on the corporate and commercial side of the company, building organizational and talent capabilities and encouraging an inclusive work environment. The position requires a strategic mindset to act as a liaison and advisor to all levels within the organization for HR-related initiatives. This role is pivotal in aligning these HR initiatives with strategic objectives to drive overall organizational success.


HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 
•    Serve as a consultative advisor to assigned functional business unit(s), focusing on organizational assessments, talent development, succession planning, and identifying key talent
•    Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, including performance management, investigations, and terminations, ensuring fair and equitable resolutions
•    Lead and support change management activities and programs
•    Cultivate positive relationships with key partners to drive HR initiatives globally
•    Collaborate with GBS centers and COE leaders to implement and embed key HR initiatives across business units
•    Uphold and advocate for the company’s ethical standards, vision, and values
•    Foster a culture of a growth mindset by ensuring the teams embrace continuous learning and development
•    Ensure compliance with company and government regulations, advising leaders on employment law
•    Leverage data analytics to advise decision making, assess staffing needs, improve organizational health, and provide strategic insights for workforce planning initiatives
•    Promote innovation and contribute to process improvements by participating in stretch assignments and HR projects throughout the year
•    Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by implementing programs that promote diverse hiring practices, inclusive leadership training, and employee resource groups to foster a culture of belonging across the organization
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 
•    6+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering with a focus on engaging with large, global, and cross-functional teams; or in lieu of HR Business Partnering experience, relevant experience leading teams and influencing business decisions
•    Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of interacting with all employee levels, including SVPs and C-suite executives
•    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including California labor laws
•    Strong communication skills and a servant leadership mentality
•    Proactive and innovative approach, capable of making significant contributions to strategic HR initiatives
•    Ability to navigate challenging employee situations, and handle sensitive conversations with confidentiality and integrity
•    Successful project management, including transformation and change management experience

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or 4 additional years of HR Business Partnering experience in lieu of a degree
