Overview

THE ROLE:
The Transportation Deployment Analyst is responsible for the coordination of product movement from Herbalife facilities and suppliers to both domestic and international Distribution Centers, by the most cost-effective transportation mode.  This role will be responsible for daily Supplier Inventory file retention and maintenance, processing Oracle Purchase Order Receipts and Re-Supply Order Transactions to reflect physical movement of product. The Analyst will be expected to maintain an adequate pipeline replenishment flow in accordance with Supply Chain Planning policies.  

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:  
•    Synchronize single or multiple pick site product transfers from US Suppliers to domestic DCs, the European Hub and international DCs.  
•    Process Oracle Purchase Order Receipts, Re-Supply and Sales Orders to match physical product movements. 
•    Communicate daily and weekly product transfers for all product lines from multiple DC’s and product transfer orders via the TAKE application to Transportation, Suppliers and Distribution Center staffs. 
•    Coordinate component and finished goods transfers between raw material suppliers, component suppliers, external assembly houses and Herbalife DC’s.  
•    Contribute to the maintenance of global inventory valuation, by coordinating product transfers in compliance with Corporate country specific replenishment policies. 
•    Integrate critical item, new product and re-worked product transfers into the weekly shipping schedule, to meet date sensitive events timing.
•    Manage QA (prior to QA release) shipments with the Suppliers, Supplier Schedulers and Quality Assurance staffs.   
•    Maintain daily Supplier Inventory Report files used as source data for the daily Deployment Report.
•    Manage the Re-Supply Order discrepancy resolution process with Suppliers and Herbalife DC’s, both domestic and international.
•    Update Deployment reporting tools, on an “as-needed” basic. 
•    Administer air shipment approval process.   
•    Assist with various Transportation Department functions as needed including booking containers, preparing export documents and communicating shipment details to foreign DC’s.

Experience:
•    3 years’ experience working in domestic transportation or a related field

 

Education:
•    High School Graduate or GED
