Sr. Manager, Global Responsibility & ESG

THE ROLE:

The Senior Manager, Global Responsibility & ESG will support Herbalife Nutrition’s Global Responsibility Team along with other key stakeholders in developing, monitoring, and maturing the Company’s approach to environment, social and governance (ESG) issues.

As the Senior Manager, Global Responsibility & ESG, you will play an important role in supporting cross-functional and regional teams as they develop long-term ESG goals and roadmaps. This role will provide trainings, benchmarking, educational resources, and other subject matter expertise to help Herbalife Nutrition create policies and programs aligned with industry best practice. This position will work with other departments to collect data, create internal and external communications, and contribute to Herbalife Nutrition’s Global Responsibility and ESG reporting requirements. This person will also identify and manage external partnerships to accelerate and amplify Herbalife Nutrition’s positive impacts.

The Senior Manager, Global Responsibility & ESG will have a results-driven approach to strategy development, program management, training, and communications.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:  

• Support the development and execution of Herbalife Nutrition’s ESG goals, roadmaps, and programs
• Conduct and coordinate regular research and testing of current ESG programs and initiatives
• Develop strategic recommendations that help teams enhance ESG policies, management systems and performance data in alignment with ESG ratings and global standards
• Create educational materials, resources, and trainings to improve ESG awareness and engagement across varied stakeholder groups
• Assist in the creation of annual ESG reporting requirements (10K, Proxy Statements, Global Responsibility Report, etc.).
• Review ESG disclosures and rankings to help teams develop action plans for improvement (S&P, CDP, TCFD, VE, Just Capital, Sustainalytics and MSCI)
• Support strategic content, communications and campaign development, including but not limited to, internal and employee communications, executive communications, blog and social media content, physical and experiential content, and targeted distributor and thought leadership’ communications
• Lead the design and development of external partnerships and engagement opportunities in accordance with timelines and budgets
• Lead the development, preparation and proposal of partnership project plans and obtain required approval documentation by internal and external parties
• Perform additional duties as assigned

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• 8 year’s work experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, social impact or other related field across global businesses, consulting firms or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
• Strong program management and organizational skills, including the ability to create work plans, manage workstreams and meet deadlines
• Team player who can build strong relationships and support cross-functional and regional teams in the implementation of ESG activities
• Ability to translate ESG data into compelling internal and external communications
• Experienced ability to initiate, develop and manage all facets of external engagements, partnerships and sponsorships, and associated activities and events
• Strong business acumen, problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel as necessary and work non-standard business hours

Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Communications, Political Sciences, Social Impact, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
