Overview

THE ROLE: 
The treasury analyst will play a key role in mitigating the company’s global foreign exchange risks by identifying exposures, recommending derivative hedge transactions, and analyzing hedging program results. The role requires strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention-to-detail.  

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 
•    Prepare reports to quantify foreign exchange exposures.  Coordinate with internal groups to ensure that exposures are accurate and appropriate adjustments are made
•    Review exposures and recommend derivative transactions to hedge or mitigate exposures
•    Analyze FX results to assess the effectiveness of hedging strategies and to identify improvements to hedging strategies and processes
•    Monitor financial markets and consult with banks to develop improved hedging strategies

 

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: 
Herbalife is a multinational company with sales and operations in over ninety countries, which results in large and complex foreign exchange exposures.  The FX team is responsible for quantifying these exposures and developing strategies to effectively reduce financial risks.  The analyst role is ideal for someone with an interest in foreign exchange markets and a desire to learn in a very dynamic and quantitative work environment.  

 

 

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 
•    4+ years of experience 
•    Prior experience in corporate treasury, finance or banking
•    Strong quantitative/analytical skills
•    Excel and computer modelling skills
•    Knowledge and/or interest in foreign exchange markets

Education
•     Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics or other quantitative majors
