THE ROLE: 

  • Herbalife Nutrition is standing up a Digital Office to prioritize, manage and execute enterprise-wide digital initiatives. In this newly created position, the Director of Product Management will be responsible to manage the people and teams that ideate and deliver high quality digital experiences for Herbalife Distributors and their customers.  The role provides ongoing leadership for the strategic direction of the products ensuring and measuring for value creation.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 

  • Oversees product strategy; serves as the voice of the distributor/consumer while negotiating and aligning to meet business goals
  • Manages multiple teams responsible for all parts of the end-to-end management of products and services across the entire product lifecycle, regularly communicating the value stream vision, strategy, and direction to the teams
  • Has a strong understanding of complex market dynamics, technology trends, Customer needs and competition to ensure differentiated success of the product / portfolio, continuously assessing the competitive positioning and opportunities for strategic product enhancements
  • Drives value stream objectives, manages intake of new product requests, and works across value stream leadership to rationalize entire product portfolio for highest user success
  • Defines and aligns OKRs and Product Roadmap for the value stream
  • Provides regular updates about product direction, vision, goals, and release plans for the product / portfolio to senior stakeholders
  • Measures results and ensures products are delivered on schedule within the agreed upon budget

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • 5 direct reports.
  • Oversees product strategy; serves as the voice of the consumer while negotiating and aligning to meet business goals
  • Directly manages team of product managers, product owners and functional analysts
  • Oversees the collective output (product/timeline) of cross functional teams (UX, Dev, QA, Analytics) who are dedicated to their Value Stream

 

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • Minimum of 10 years in product, design or other roles developing experiences for consumers.
  • Experience leading product managers and product owners
  • Ability to strategically prioritize digital project roadmaps and manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
  • An understanding of digital distributor-facing and consumer-facing businesses, with strong grasp of IT and digital trends 
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and cross-group collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, identify gaps and define solutions to address complex business challenges
  • Ability to identify, manage, and track dependencies across teams and initiatives to manage risk and produce outcomes in alignment with commitments 
  • Ability to responsibly track and manage multi-million-dollar budgets
  • Innovation-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement, digital transformation, and emerging technologies
  • Strong managerial skills with ability to develop and motivate others
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity. 
  • Experience building and managing teams that deliver reliable products that scale to millions of users
  • Comfortable driving successful delivery through a large, geographically disparate team comprised of internal employees and contingent resources.
  • Occasional travel 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, interchangeable with experience and PM certifications
